CELLULAR POLYCARBONATE

DESCRIPTION

Cellular polycarbonate, better known by the commercial brands, Makrolon^® Multi or Lexan^® Thermoclear, is a thermoplastic material with optimal thermal insulation properties. Produced in double or triple-layer sheets, it can be equipped with installation accessories such as closure or connecting profiles and fixing washers on request. Sheets can be both sectioned and cold bent.

PROPERTIES

Cellular polycarbonate sheets, thanks to a low specific weight, are light and can be installed with simple supports. They possess elevated thermal insulation capabilities, are impact resistant and, due to a protective UV layer applied to the external surface, are highly weather resistant.

APPLICATION

Thanks to their extreme impact resistance, cellular polycarbonate sheets are particularly suitable for covering patios, winter gardens, greenhouses, barrel vaults and verandas.
